I ran across a new technique the other day called Cinemagraph. It's a way to display a new type of photo that comes alive, much like the photographs in the Harry Potter movies. Here are my first attempts at cinemagraphy, I hope that you enjoy them!
Cinemagraphs are basicly animated gif's which are done a little differently than a typical animation. Instead of animating the entire image, you just animate one specific area.
This can be done in Photoshop or After Effects and makes for some interesting photos.
